Hello NSGA families!
There is so much happening around North Shore right now, and we want to bring you all into our sharing circle. Before we get too much further into our updates, thank you for being a part of the NSGA community and choosing us to teach, train, and coach your kids. You are the reason we’ve been able to build the connection, care and community that sets us apart in Twin Cities/Minnesota gymnastics.

WEBSITE REFRESH
To prepare for the launch of our new building campaign (more on that to come), we have done a quick refresh on northshoregym.org. You will notice a new navigation system. We have what we call our utility bar, which hosts the links that existing North Shore families use most: class parent logins, team logins, class/team schedules, etc. This makes it quick and easy for you to find these pages and resources.
We’ve also updated our home page so it’s easier to discover what is happening in the gym as well as highlight gymnasts’ successes and keep you current with our building campaign (there’s that term again).

LAUNCHING OUR BUILDING CAMPAIGN
For those who attended our 50th anniversary celebration, you know we’ve taken steps toward building a new, larger, state-of-the-art facility. (Yes, this means we’re moving, but it’s not far and not for a while.)
Well, the time has come and we’re launching a building campaign to help us raise money to fund the facility’s design and construction. All NSGA classes and teams will reap the benefits of the new space and equipment.
50 years ago, a group of dedicated parents began a non-profit gym to provide a safe place for their daughters to experience the power, beauty and benefit of gymnastics. You know (that’s why you’re here) it is just as vital today as it was in 1974 for ALL children to have a safe place to move, succeed, connect, and grow through sport.
Our capital campaign is titled Building a Balanced Community: Spot the next generation of gymnasts. All proceeds will go directly to the building fund and result in a larger, more dynamic space with new equipment.
As you are a valued member of our NSGA community, we wanted to announce this to you first and ask for your support. There are a number of ways to participate in Building a Balanced Community TOGETHER!
• Give a gift to our building fund. Click here
• Connect us with potential sponsors
Would your company benefit from a partnership with NSGA and our audience? Do you know a business with a strong commitment to community service and engagement that may want to fund scholarships? There are several ways for organizations to become involved. Help us make that connection by emailing me..
• Attend our fundraising events
We will have events throughout the year as the facility is being built. Some at the gym, some at the new facility site, some elsewhere, but all will be fun, and all will contribute directly to our building fund.
• Like and Follow
Stay up to date on our building campaign by following us on Facebook or Instagram and on the website.
• Host a fundraising event
Let’s talk about it. Reach out to Jodi Farley with your creative ideas. Some thoughts we’ve had include a car wash, bake sale, game night, etc.

YES, WE’RE MOVING (ACROSS THE STREET)
Here are a few renderings of the new gym. But to get the full experience, visit our Building a Balance Community page northshoregym.org/balancedcommunity

THANK YOU!
We’re publicly launching our building campaign later this month, but we wanted you to hear it from us first. Your continued support is everything to us. Please reach out to me directly with any questions, if you want to connect about sponsorships or want to talk more about what’s ahead at NSGA.
