North Shore showcases talent at GymACT

The North Shore Gymnastics boys’ team showcased their talent at the 8th Annual Minnesota GymACT Invitational on Feb. 15-16. Over 200 young gymnasts competed, creating an electric atmosphere. The highlight was Saturday evening, featuring a thrilling showdown between the Minnesota Men’s GymACT, Northern Illinois GymACT, and Wisconsin GymACT teams.

The meet began with the Level 5 and Level 6 Junior Elite teams on Saturday morning. In the 9–10-year age division for Level 5, Máté Toth (9, Orono) delivered an impressive performance. He secured fifth place on the Still Rings, third place on both the Floor and Vault, second place on the Pommel Horse and Parallel Bars, and became the champion on the Horizontal Bar. His outstanding efforts earned him second place in the All-Around competition. In the 11–12-year-old division, Riley Barton (10, Eden Prairie) also performed exceptionally well. He placed fifth on the Pommel Horse and second on the Vault.
