North Shore gymnasts take gold at Go for Gold

Athletes from North Shore Gymnastics Association (NSGA) took home top awards this weekend at the Go For Gold Competition in White Bear Lake.

North Shore Gymnasts in the Xcel Silver and Level 3 groups competed on Saturday, September 28, and the Level 4 group competed on Sunday, September 29. The athletes put on an impressive performance for the judges and took home the 1st place team award in both Xcel Silver and Level 4 groups.

SGA Xcel Silver athletes’ strong routines contributed to impressive results taking first place among the competing Xcel Silver teams. In the Juniors division, Grace Barsness (Medina) and Cygni Corradi (Mound) tied for 2nd place All Around. Grace earned four spots on the podium placing first in Uneven Bars, third place in Vault and Floor and fifth place in Beam, while Cygni won first in Floor, second in Vault and third in Beam. Eleanor Wagner (Mound) placed 4th All Around with four spots on the podium placing first place for Beam, second place in Floor, fourth place in Uneven Bars and fifth place in Vault. Charleigh Lefebvre (Annadale) placed fourth in both her Beam and Floor routines. Reese Moslander (Minnestrista) earned a spot on the podium with fourth place on Floor.
